New construction mechanical, Denver
New construction HVAC in Denver
Commercial, multifamily and custom home mechanical packages, delivered design-build or bid from your drawings.
- Insured
- EPA-certified technicians
- Design-build and plan-and-spec
- 24/7 emergency response
A new building gets one chance to have its mechanical system designed and installed right. Besties HVAC Solutions works with general contractors, developers, custom home builders and architects to deliver HVAC packages for ground-up commercial buildings, multifamily projects and luxury custom homes across the Denver metro.
We work two ways. In design-build, we size and lay out the system with you and, where stamped drawings are required, coordinate with a mechanical engineer of record. In plan-and-spec, we price exactly what the documents show, flag conflicts through RFIs, and install to the specification.

Who we work with
General contractors and developers on commercial and multifamily projects, custom home builders, and architects who want mechanical input before the plans are locked.
The bid process
Send the drawings, specification and schedule, along with addenda and any alternates. We review the mechanical sheets, architectural plans and electrical coordination, then return a written bid with a clear scope, clarifications and exclusions. If the documents leave gaps, we tell you where and how we priced them, rather than burying an assumption that becomes a change order later.
For design-build work we start earlier, often at schematic design. We run loads, propose system types with cost and operating tradeoffs, and help the architect protect space for mechanical rooms, chases, shafts and roof equipment before the plans are locked.
Commercial and multifamily
Commercial new construction usually means packaged rooftop units or split systems with economizers and outdoor air, plus restroom and kitchen exhaust. Multifamily projects are a repetition game: the same unit layout dozens of times, where a clean typical detail for the air handler closet, condensing unit location, dryer and bath exhaust and fresh air pays for itself on every floor. We build those typicals with the GC early, then hold them consistently through rough-in and trim.
Custom homes
On luxury custom homes we work with the builder and architect on zoning, equipment rooms, hydronic radiant and snowmelt, humidification, ventilation and controls. Large glass walls, vaulted great rooms and walkout lower levels all need their own design attention, and we plan duct routes with the framer so returns and supplies end up where the load actually is.
Inspections and closeout
We coordinate rough and final mechanical inspections, support test and balance contractors or perform balancing where the scope allows, and deliver startup reports, equipment lists, warranty registrations and owner training at turnover.
Avoiding change orders
Most mechanical change orders trace back to three things: equipment that does not fit the space it was drawn in, duct routes that collide with structure or plumbing, and scope gaps between the mechanical, electrical and plumbing documents. We look for all three at bid time and call them out in writing, so the owner and GC decide how to handle them before the work is in the field.
Energy codes
Jurisdictions across the metro have adopted energy codes that affect equipment efficiency, duct sealing and testing, ventilation and controls. We price to the code that applies to the project and coordinate any required duct leakage or ventilation testing.

Our process
- Send documents. Drawings, specification, addenda and schedule, or schematic plans for design-build.
- Review and price. Scope, clarifications, alternates and a firm number based on the documents.
- Build. Submittals, rough-in, inspections and trim, coordinated with the other trades.
- Start up and close out. Commissioning, balancing coordination, documentation and owner training.

New construction HVAC questions
Do you bid from plans for general contractors?
Yes. Send the drawings, specification and schedule. We return a written bid with scope, clarifications and exclusions, and we flag document conflicts through RFIs.
Can you do design-build mechanical?
Yes. We run loads, select systems and lay out equipment and ductwork, and coordinate with a mechanical engineer of record when stamped drawings are required by the jurisdiction or the owner.
Do you build custom luxury homes?
Yes. We work with custom home builders and architects on multi-zone forced air, hydronic radiant, snowmelt, humidification, ventilation and smart controls.
What multifamily projects do you take on?
Townhome communities, garden-style and mid-rise buildings where repeatable unit typicals, corridor ventilation and amenity spaces make up the mechanical scope.
When should we bring you in?
As early as schematic design for design-build, and at bid time for plan-and-spec. Early involvement protects space for equipment and duct routes before framing.
Do you handle inspections?
Yes. We coordinate rough and final mechanical inspections and provide startup reports and closeout documents.
